About Our Center
Who We Are
History: Since 1994, we have served in the Kaiserslautern community by offering free and confidential services, including but not limited to: Consulting; Pregnancy Testing; Education for Abortion, Fertility, Parenting, and Sexual Integrity; Adoption Guidance; Post-Abortion Trauma Recovery; Material-Aid Assistance; Infant Care Classes; Follow-up Consultations and Referral Services. Our pregnancy center is officially registered as an NGO (§ 60a, paragraph 1 AO; tax ID 19/672/17963) under the name of Heartbeat Crisis Pregnancy Center. From July 1, 2023, the center will be known as Hope for Life KL. In December of 2022, the executive board of directors voted to close out of the current office space, launch an online model to reach and meet clients locally, renew the mission, restructure the organization, and rebrand to Hope for Life KL.
Who we serve: Our ministry is unique here in Germany since we serve the American military population as well as Germans and people from all over the world. About 99 percent of our clients who call our helpline are English speaking and affiliated with the Military. These clients are typically abortion minded and call to ask questions. During a consultation a client meets with our consultant so she can assess the client’s physical and spiritual needs. We provide services to our clients from pregnancy through 24 months of age.
Our Mission
Hope for Life KL is an international organization; our purpose is to defend life by supporting women in crisis pregnancies as well as to bring healing and wholeness to lives traumatized by abortion, and challenge our international community to adopt a biblical view of marriage, sexuality, and the sanctity of human life. The sanctity of human life simply means, “the reverence for and sacredness of each and every human life based on its intrinsic worth and equal value regardless of its stage or condition from conception to natural death”.
Our Vision
Hope for Life KL desires to make abortion unconscionable and unnecessary in the Kaiserslautern region, and to provide options to choose life for unborn children.
